Much longer than the ridiculously short usb cable that comes with the PS3, now you can actually play games and charge your controller at a distance longer than 12 inches from the console.The attached velcro is a plus as I no longer have to worry about losing twisty ties or rubber bands (those darn things always get lost somehow). I have 2 of these. Great buy.
I've had this cord for about a year, and haven't had any issues. the person who said you can get it cheaper somewhere else must not have paid the 80 dollars a year to have all shipping upgraded to 2 day shipping free without the 25 dollar minimum.
this cord is at least double to 3x the length of my PS3 cable that came with the system. 10 feet is LONG.
I never have to recharge the controller.edit 1/24: this cord is less than 10 dollars shipped with a prime membership. I'd guess 3 times, although I didn't measure.
Most of the time, I leave this cable plugged in while I play. I'd rather have the correct cord than take a chance on having to return it to save a few bucks.
This cord/ charge link is a very solid product.
Someone said that it was slightly longer than the one that came with the PS3. I guess that depends on which PS3 as for mine it is over three times the length of the included cable. This allows me to plug in a sixaxis mid game and to continue playing from my couch.Short version.This a good quality cable, that is long enough to charge a controller while playing a game. What more can you say.
What can you say about a cable. It works. I lost the USB cable that came with the Play Station 3. This one replaces it, it's a little longer than the original and it works.
I already had an Intec charging cable and thought from the pictures that this one would match it in appearance. Unfortunately it's pretty lame. It is both flimsy and stiff. It does charge just fine, but looks awful as it retains it's unattractive folded shape long after being stretched out.
